Conclusion

Highly Recommended,!

OK I'm taking the pee slightly, but I thought it fair to compare the competition with the other Linux distros. Yes this disk cost me £60 for an EOM version which I bought from a London based component shop. (Y0-Y0 tech) .
That kind of sets it aside, but the up side is everything just works out of the box and I didn't need to swat up on it (20 years user).

Windows always works - it's just a constant battle with the bad guys - and I include so-called legitimate businesses in that category.

Installation of XP

Source: Single CD from from Yo-Yo tech
I formatted the C: drive on NTFS, and rebooted on the XP disk. I guess there's no need to go through the process, except to say that the first attempt froze half way through and I had ro redformat the drive again, this time using the XP disk rather than the GParted disk I normally use.
