The top of the legs and the rails just need a couple of thin coats of pale polish from the rubber to complete them. The reviver does not fill in the worn patches, but provides a good base to add more polish.

More dramatically with the top. The surface is not quite as "new" as these pictures in direct sunlight suggest, but the lack of stains and damaged polish is obvious. cofftab WIP cofftab WIP
cofftab WIP All that is left after a few more days hardening is to polish with a good wax polish and build up a new patina. Black patinating wax can be used to age the surface grain a little more before clear wax coats are added.

If you have a valuable antique, don't practice on it - best take it to a pro. But if you have an honest but rather sad old piece of furniture, why not have a go?
